ADULT SOCCER PROGRAM

RULES 

OVERVIEW

It is very important for all players to be conscious and responsible about the level they are signing up for. the overview of this program is, based upon individual perspective on their level, and experience. The coach will have the discretion and responsibility to advise different levels to teams if necessary.

Universo FC offer a variety of options for players who would like to play soccer but do no have a team. please choose the individual registration process and once you have completed the registration UFC will place you on a team.

  • Every soccer team must have matching jerseys with name and numbers for all players.
  • All team's rosters will be frozen after the tournament fifth game. The coach and or representative’s has the responsibility to provide a team roster with all the names on it.
  • All players must have a valid ID
  • All players must sign an annual waiver (no exception).
  • Playoffs will start to play the following weekend from the end of the first round. 
  • Players that sign up individually will be placed on a house team or assigned to a team.
  • Adult leagues may have late game times.
  • If registering a team a minimum of $250 deposit is due at the time of registration for all teams, the remaining amount is due 48 hours before the 1st game.
  • Players MUST use a full equipment in order to be accepted on the soccer field and play a game (no exceptions)
  • Every effort must be made to start the games on time. All games must end 5 min before the hour (no exceptions). If a game starts late- the amount of time will be deducted equally in each half.
  • After 15 min has surpassed, from the start of the game – a forfeit will be issued (the forfeited team will be responsible to pay the referee fee portion).
PARENTS

Universo FC Coaches, players, referees must be a good role model. That will help the  development and implementation of our sports programs. We all need to show our kids what good sportsmanship means. 

FAMILY AND FRIENDS CODE OF CONDUCT 

1) I will not engage nor will I encourage my child or any other person to engage, in unsportsmanlike conduct with any coach, parent, player, participant, official or any other attendee.


2) I will not engage nor will I encourage my child or any other person to engage, in any behavior which would endanger the health, safety or well being of any coach, parent, player, participant, official or any other attendee.


3) I will not permit my child, or encourage any other person, to use drugs or alcohol at a youth sporting event and will not permit my child, or encourage any other person, to attend, coach, officiate or participate in a youth sports event while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.


4) I will not engage nor will I encourage my child or any other person to engage, in the use of profanity.


5) I will treat and encourage my child to treat any coach, parent, player, participant, official or any other attendee with respect regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation or ability.


6) I will not engage nor will I encourage my child or any other participant to engage in verbal or physical threats or abuse aimed at any coach, parent, player, participant, official or any other attendee.


7) I will not nor will I encourage my child or any other participant to initiate or participate in a fight or scuffle with any coach, parent, player, participant, official or any other attendee.


8) I will not go beyond all designated spectator areas unless requested by an official or a coach.


9) All parents and fans should be on the sides of the fields, but not behind the goals.


10) No drugs, smoking, alcohol will be permitted on the Universo FC premises


11) If a parent is misbehaving the referee can show him/her a red car, and the parent should leave to the parking area.

if the parent continues misbehaving, then must leave the Universo FC premises immediately.
